Two amazing trumpets
These cactus flowers are stunning. I picked the cactus up along with two great aloes the other day. They were left for free on the footpath with many other succulents and cacti.
With Reed and Mia in tow or perhaps towing and little room left in my garden I was happy to leave the dozen or more plants behind that I couldn’t carry. The next day most of the cacti and succulents were gone, but a few new ones had been put out. No room in this garden.

This would have to be my favourite photo, Dean. I like the way the light is coming though the flower and lighting up the stem. The black background makes a velvety backdrop for the luminous flower.
